R. Samuel Bryant, M.D., sees more than simply patients each day—he sees people with dreams and goals, and he takes pride in helping each one of them attain those dreams and reach those goals. He knows every patient is unique, and tailors his work to each person’s needs.
Dr. Bryant was born in Beatrice, Nebraska, and grew up in St. Louis. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1981. He served his residency in general and plastic surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. While there, he learned to perform the complete selection of plastic surgery procedures from nationally recognized cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Bryant started a cosmetic surgery program at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in 1988, which has since moved to the Lincoln Surgical Hospital.
Since opening his practice in Lincoln, Dr. Bryant has performed thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures. He is trained in all procedures, but has a special interest in breast surgery and body contouring. Dr. Bryant has performed over a thousand breast reductions, and is authorized to make insurance pre-determination for BCBS of Nebraska. He is a principal investigator for Mentor and Allergan (INAMED) silicone gel breast implant studies for breast augmentation and reconstruction.
Dr. Bryant works closely with other surgeons to provide cosmetic procedures in conjunction with insurance-paid operations, in order to reduce cost to patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Lancaster County Medical Association, the Nebraska Medical Association and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Bryant is interested in sports cars and participates in auto racing. He enjoys time spent with his wife and two daughters.
